Unlike standard silica-filled chemical matting agents that reduce clarity and yellow over time, our Skin-Feel films utilize advanced physical structuring. The superficial layer is cross-linked under 172nm Excimer UV radiation, producing a micro-folded surface. This structure scatters incident light in all directions, achieving an ultra-low gloss value of below 3 Gloss Units (GU) at 60°.
To achieve high stain and fingerprint resistance, our PETG skins are coated with an oleophobic layer that lowers surface energy.
