PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a modified single-layer amorphous polymer with high chemical and impact resistance. GAG is a three-layer co-extruded composite structure containing a core of APET (Amorphous PET) sandwiched between two external skin layers of PETG. This design combines the cost-efficiency of APET with the outstanding thermal welding, surface decoration, and processing attributes of PETG.
Yes. Our PETG and GAG films are specifically optimized for polyurethane (PUR) hot-melt adhesive flat lamination lines (such as Barberán, Hymmen, and Friz machines). We chemically treat the reverse side of the film with a dedicated primer or corona treatment to achieve high surface tension, ensuring a permanent bond to MDF, particleboard, or plywood cores.
