Established with roots reaching back to 2005 and formal operations accelerating in 2017, Ganzhou Zhongyou Film Material Co., Ltd. stands as a pinnacle of technological advancement in China's coating, hardening, and co-extrusion polymer field.
Equipped with 300 advanced production setups across a massive 60,000 m² footprint, we oversee a vertically integrated workflow. From precision extrusion of base sheets—including high-clarity 2 mm transparent configurations and GAG co-extrusions—to cleanroom coating (Class 100,000 standard), micro-gravure lamination, and automated slitting, we guarantee structural integrity, scratch resistance, and optical clarity that meet strict international regulations.
When sourcing industrial plastics, procurement directors look at polymer chemistry, dimensional stability under high temperature, and optical clarity. A true 2 mm transparent plastic sheet—primarily manufactured using PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-Modified) or APET (Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate)—presents distinct advantages over acrylic (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC).
| Performance Metric | PETG (Zhongyou Standard) | Acrylic (PMMA) | Polycarbonate (PC) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light Transmission (%) | > 90% (ASTM D1003) | 92% | 88% |
| Impact Resistance (kJ/m²) | 12 - 15 (ISO 179) | 2 | 65 (Unnotched) |
| Formability Temperature | 120°C - 160°C (No Pre-drying) | 160°C - 180°C (Requires Drying) | 180°C - 210°C (High Stress) |
| Chemical Resistance | High (Acids, Alkalis, Alcohol) | Moderate (Sensitive to Alcohol) | Poor (Cracks easily under solvents) |
| Eco-Friendliness | 100% Recyclable (Class 1 Resin) | Recyclable but complex processing | Contains BPA (Restricted in contact) |
Zhongyou's advanced 2 mm transparent PETG sheet is specifically engineered to eliminate the internal stress lines common in standard thick-sheet extrusion. This allows for clean mechanical cutting, routing, and vacuum forming without cracking or localized hazing, ensuring optimal clarity for final products.
Beyond raw sheeting, our co-extruded films and customized PET/PETG solutions provide finishes for whole-house design, custom furniture, and commercial spaces. They deliver durability, chemical resistance, and ease of installation.
By directly managing copolymer modification and masterbatch formulations, we achieve precise resin ratios. This guarantees thickness tolerances within ±0.02 mm for 2 mm clear plates and minimizes yellowing index variations over time.
Using co-extrusion technology, we structure GAG layers (PETG-APET-PETG) to combine the surface durability of PETG with the cost efficiency of an amorphous core. This creates high-performance sheets and protective barriers at competitive prices.
Our Class 100,000 dust-free workshops house advanced hard-coating lines. These apply functional anti-glare, anti-scratch (reaching 2H hardness), and UV-blocking coatings without particle contamination.
To serve demanding B2B markets in North America, Europe, and Asia, Ganzhou Zhongyou manufactures all materials in compliance with international environmental and structural standards.
"Our QC system tracks every order from extrusion to delivery. Digital records are maintained for five years to ensure batch traceability."
PETG offers significantly higher impact resistance compared to standard PMMA (Acrylic). It is less prone to cracking or shattering during machining, routing, and drilling. PETG can also be thermoformed without pre-drying, saving energy and cycle time during fabrication. However, PMMA retains a slightly higher surface hardness (pencil hardness rating of 3H to 4H vs. 1H to 2H for standard PETG).
We use NDC non-contact laser measurement sensors directly on our extrusion dies. This automated system monitors thickness across the web in real-time, keeping variance within ±0.02 mm for 2 mm profiles. This control prevents issues with PUR flat paste and lamination machines.
GAG is a multi-layer composite film featuring PETG outer layers cladding an APET core. This combination merges the excellent surface qualities and ease of processing of PETG with the cost-effective mechanical properties of APET. It is widely used on PUR flat lamination lines for furniture and wallboards.
We offer online treatments including high-gloss finishes, super-matte textures (soft touch), anti-fingerprint properties, anti-glare coatings, and UV-stabilizers to prevent color shift and weathering in bright indoor environments.
Our sales engineers are ready to support your development project. Whether you need customized dimensions, surface coatings, or GAG structures, we provide fast sampling and clear technical documentation.
