Engineered to resist abrasion, chemical cleaners, and structural delamination. Optimal compatibility with PUR flat paste production lines.
Established in 2017, Ganzhou Zhongyou Film Material Co., Ltd. has established itself as an innovative force in the coating and hardening industry, backed by more than 20 years of research and production expertise. We specialize in the R&D and large-scale manufacturing of high-performance functional films, notably PETG, APET, GAG, and PVC options that supply the global decorative wood, panel lamination, and interior custom cabinetry sectors.
Our infrastructure includes a complete modern production line of extrusion, precision surface coating, multi-layer co-extrusion, and high-accuracy slitting. This integration yields consistently high-standard surface materials engineered to withstand wear, moisture, and chemical cleaning agents.
A look at the logistical, workforce, and engineering metrics that empower us to support large-scale industrial projects globally.
The global interior architecture and custom cabinetry markets are undergoing rapid shifts. While natural timber and solid hardwood panels remain high-end options, their vulnerability to environmental degradation, moisture, high sourcing costs, and limited supply chains has created a need for advanced alternatives. Engineered wood products, including medium-density fiberboards (MDF), high-density fiberboards (HDF), and particleboard substrates, have taken center stage. However, the performance and aesthetic value of these composite boards depend on their decorative surface layers.
Traditional wood veneers are prone to cracking, color fading, and scratching. On the other hand, conventional PVC films, while cost-effective, can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and offer limited UV resistance. High-quality decorative wood manufacturers are increasingly utilizing eco-friendly, resilient polymers such as PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) and GAG (PETG/APET/PETG) multi-layer composite structures.
Zhongyou Film Material is at the forefront of this shift. We provide global panel laminators with structural films that mimic natural wood grains, marble textures, and ultra-matte or high-gloss solid colors. These films protect the core board substrate from humidity, chemical stains, and impact, ensuring a high-end finish that is built to last.
Understanding the molecular properties of surface materials is crucial for sourcing directors. Here is a technical breakdown of how these material pathways impact final product quality:
Our decorative wood films are engineered to perform in various interior settings, including residential spaces, corporate environments, and high-traffic public areas.

Polymer chips are melted at precise temperatures and extruded through multi-layer dies to form PETG/GAG backing bases with balanced thickness.
High-voltage discharge modifies the surface energy of the film, ensuring optimal dyne levels for subsequent printing and adhesive bonding.
Wood grain patterns, marble visual effects, and customized pigments are transferred onto the substrate via multi-station print lines.
A specialized anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint surface lacquer is applied and cured via UV radiation in our cleanroom workshop.
State-of-the-art rewinding and slitting equipment prepares rolls to exact customer widths, preventing edge curling or micro-cracks.
Ganzhou, located in Jiangxi province, serves as a vital logistics corridor in China. Our strategic location enables reliable domestic sourcing of top-tier monomers and rapid shipping access via Shenzhen and Guangzhou ports.
In addition to geographical advantages, the scale of our production facility ensures significant cost efficiencies. Operating 300+ units of production equipment in a centralized 60,000 square meter plant allows us to manage fluctuating resin prices effectively and maintain stable pricing structures for our global clients.
Our raw materials undergo strict quality controls prior to manufacturing. This commitment to consistency ensures our global clients receive reliable materials, reducing line downtime and maximizing lamination yields.
We understand that importing polymer materials involves navigating various regulatory standards. Different markets have distinct requirements for flame retardancy, chemical safety, and VOC limits:

PETG is a single-layer glycol-modified PET film that offers high clarity and ductility. GAG is a three-layer co-extruded film (PETG-APET-PETG) that combines the surface properties of PETG, such as scratch resistance and bonding performance, with the structural stiffness and cost-efficiency of APET. GAG is highly recommended for flat paste lamination on heavy-duty particle or MDF boards.
In high-gloss or solid super-matte films, even minor airborne dust particles can settle on the film surface during extrusion or coating, leading to micro-dimples or surface defects. Producing films in a Class 100,000 cleanroom ensures consistent surface smoothness, which is critical for premium residential furniture applications.
We recommend using Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) hot-melt adhesives. PUR adhesives provide excellent moisture resistance, high bonding strength, and a minimal glue line, which helps prevent orange-peel effects on high-gloss boards. Water-based acrylic adhesives can also be used, but require careful tuning of the drying tunnel parameters.
We utilize spectrophotometers to measure color consistency against control samples. Our raw materials are mixed in automated batching systems to ensure consistent color values across production runs, keeping values within a standard tolerance range (Delta E < 0.8).
Standard orders typically ship within 15-20 days from order confirmation. Custom color matches or specialized surface treatments may require 25-30 days to complete testing and production. We ship through major southern Chinese ports to ensure reliable global delivery.
